The am-cor unified steel & cement building system is made only of cement and galvanized steel, creating a disaster resistant building shell. It is strong and light, designed for tornado, hurricane, flood, and earthquake resistance. In addition, it is fire resistant, termite, ant, and vermin resistant; and because there is no wood in am-cor structures, am-cor materials do not support the growth of mold, mildew, bacteria, and fungus. The am-cor system is sustainable, environmentally friendly green construction, because it uses much less energy and material than standard construction and easily incorporates solar and other renewable energy sources. Its lightweight and unified structural properties allow for increased safety and evacuation time in the event of an explosion, terrorist attack, or earthquake.
