construction sequence of an am-cor™ building
On delivery of am-cor™ PAK and OPTIONS to site:
prepare and excavate site according to am-cor™ FIELD MANUAL
place foundation reinforcement and pour concrete footings
place and compact gravel base to floor slab
panels and components are marked and keyed to FIELD MANUAL
set panels according to am-cor™ floor plan; ensure plumb and square
secure to top of footing using steel-to-concrete powder activated pins
fasten panels together with screws provided using power drill drivers
place rigid foam insulation board around perimeter of wall panels
secure using am-cor™ pre-formed carbon steel lath water table course
install groundworks, place floor slab vapor seal and reinforce slab according to am-cor™ FIELD MANUAL
pour floor slab, imbedding exterior wall panels
insulation course acts as formwork for slab edge
install interior partition panels and pin to top of floor slab
set ceiling or second floor frame panels
screw am-cor™ pre-cut rafters to hurricane resistant anchors
mount window sand exterior doors directly to steel framework
apply am-cor™ galvanized carbon steel mesh to exterior frame surface
mask exterior doors and windows
mix and apply amcorite™ skin according to FIELD MANUAL
apply roof decking, roofing, and eave trim (decking not required with optional hurricane resistant structural roof tiles)
mix and apply water resistant tinted cement finish over ferrocement coat
use templates provided to apply ornamental layers to finish coat
PHASE ONE
FOUNDATIONS
