am-cor™ structures in the Caribbean weathered at least two consecutive natural disasters, Hurricane Charlie and the more destructive Hurricane Ivan.
Newly completed am-cor™ structures in Jamaica weathered Hurricane Charlie, Frances, and Ivan last fall, suffering no structural damage and minimal surface damage. The am-cor™ system has been certified by the Jamaican Bureau of Standards, and is now approved for use in hurricane and earthquake prone Jamaica for buildings of 2 stories. Several tourist villas have been constructed, and an am-cor™ hotel structure is underway.
