am-cor™ Solar Addition is constructed in Virginia as a proof-of-concept structure.
A 2-story addition to Suncroft, a passive solar earth-sheltered residence built in 1970, is being constructed using an am-cor™ energy efficient super insulated unified steel and cement structural shell. The original Suncroft cottage is an energy independent passive solar home requiring no fossil fuels for space heating.
