International Code Council (ICC)
- The International Code Council, a membership association dedicated to building safety and fire prevention, develops the codes used to construct residential and commercial buildings, including homes and schools. Most U.S. cities, counties and states that adopt codes choose the International Codes developed by the International Code Council.
Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI)
- An association offering technical and professional resources for designers and builders of cold-formed steel structures; a council of the SFA. Formerly known as the Light Gauge Steel Engineers Association (LGSEA).
U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)
- The U.S. Green Building Council promotes buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. Also home to the LEED rating system.
Steel Framing Alliance (SFA)
- Alliance to enable and encourage the widespread, practical and economic use of and preference for light gauge steel framing in residential construction, and to expand the use of steel framing as a load bearing element in commercial construction.
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
- Government department to increase homeownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing free from discrimination.
American Standard Testing Method (ASTM)
- ASTM International provides technical standards to industry worldwide. As a standards development body, the standards products offered include metals, petroleum, construction, environment and many other related standards, test methods, specifications, and guides.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
- The US Army Corps of Engineers is the world's premier public engineering organization.
American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE)
